Who We Are The core business activity of the society is to process, grade and market coffee on behalf of the small scale coffee farmers

Kabngetuny farmers’ co-operative society ltd was registered on 27th june, 1985 by the ministry of co-operative development and marketing under registration certificate number NO.CS 4376. Besides our core business activity, we also sources farm inputs for the members so as to ensure sustainable and quality coffee productions which meet the international market requirements.

Where we are

Kabngetuny is in kericho highlands specifically, Chepkechei Sub-Location, Kipteres Location,Chilchila Division Of Kipkelion District, Kericho County, Rift Valley, surrounded by the scenic beauty Nandi hills and beautifull environment of Mau forest with an altitude of 2000m above the sea level. The soil type is loam and black in color. The coffee varieties that grow here are the k7, ruiru11, batian, sl34 and sl28.
The Total number of coffee trees is approximately 360,000 plants and average production per tree is 3.5 kgs. Kenyan coffee is mainly Arabica which are exported in green form. Kabngetuny farmers’ coffees are produced at an altitude of 2000 m above the sea level. The coffees we produce are among the best coffee in the world and the types of grades we export includes: AA, AB, TT, C, T, PB, E & HE.

  4. To inco-operate all the efforts on coffee productions, processing and marketing in order to meet the international standards
  5. To comply with the certification codes of conduct and standards
  6. To practice integrity and transparency
